Review:
Smackdown time as the Secret Warriors throw down with Osborne and HAMMER, with a few hundred Nick Fury LMDs along for the ride. Yo-Yo's brutal fight with Dark Hawkeye seems to be an indication that her emotional recovery from having her arms severed is going to be an ongoing arc for the character. Phobos is an interesting choice to push center stage and his relationship with Ares makes for quixotic dynamic between the Warriors and the Avengers. Admittedly, Osborne's sudden suiting up stands out as he was in a regular suit and tie for the last two issues. Garret's conversation with Waters is cryptic and more hints are dropped (what the hell is Pieta?! What does all this have to do with the Zodiac?) of the greater story at work in the title.
