The Skrull invasion comes to Hydra and Baron Von Strucker fends off a team of Skrull warriors and blows an underwater city in his escape. Three months later, Von Strucker receives intel of Fury blowing up the S.H.I.E.L.D. Datacore in Chicago and he decides to call a meeting of the true Hydra; Kraken, Madame Hydra, the Hive and Viper. Together they agree to bring back The Gorgon.

Review
Von Strucker is back and thank goodness for that. The opening with the destruction of the Hydra underwater city was a true return to form for the character, very much in keeping with the Baron found in the D.G. Chichester issues of S.H.I.E.L.D. (2) and a far cry from the tame version that sacrificed himself to the Gorgon in Wolverine some years ago...and speaking of which. The surprise return of the Gorgon joined to Hydra is something really exciting. Probably the best thing to come out of the Enemy of the State storyline was the introduction of Gorgon as a new and dangerous enemy for Fury. The art continues to impress, and the Hydra redesigns are creepy indeed.
