Review
Another
stand-in team take over; Ernie Hart and Herb Trimpe join to do
a stint in S.H.I.E.L.D., offering a somewhat hokey but
still readable story thanks to a number of small details. Not
the most memorable of villains, Supremus seems set up to be another
boring super-villain until the end when his origins are revealed
through his sister. Despite this near-end twist, the mad geneticist
shtick has been done before (Issue #2). The saving graces include
great dialogue and artwork by Trimpe (which is truely a revelation
when seen in B&W in the Hulk Weekly reprints). Also noteworthy
is a cameo by Tony Stark.
