The
S.H.I.E.L.D. helicarrier arrives over London with Captain America, who is
dispatched by Fury to investigate neo-Nazi activites in England. Cap
crosses paths with the rookie costumed hero Captain Britain and together
investigate the happenings in Braddock Manor which reveal a new plot
by the Red Skull
Fury meets an agent of S.T.R.I.K.E., and nearly done in by him, as the agent
is in reality working for the Red Skull. Captains America and Britain
are presumed dead following an explosion and a funeral is held in London
for both heroes.
The Red Skull makes his move and kidnaps the Prime Minister and threatens
to detonate a biological weapon over London. The two Captains come
out of hiding and reveal themselves to be alive and fight the Skull
as Fury and S.T.R.I.K.E. commander Lance Hunter discover the bomb in Big
Ben.
