In this Marvel Universe, the X-Men are placed under the jurisdiction of Nick Fury and SHIELD during the 1990s and Wolverine is found dead in Central Park, murdered by Storm working for the Consortium. Instead of age defying SHIELD agents Dugan and Gabe Jones, the organization features the offspring and relatives of the Howling Commandos in key postions:

• Roy Manelli (son of Dino).
• Tommy Juniper (nephew of Juniper).
