An older and more embittered version of Nick Fury
finds himself a relic in his own agency while reluctantly caring
for the
son of a fallen comrade whom he hates. A former Hydra agent stirs up
trouble on a Caribbean island and Fury takes it upon himself to take
him down in a bloody gory fight to the death.

Russia" (Jan-May 2005)
In an attempt to reclaim SHIELD for himself, Fury seeks
out Frank Castle for a "suicide" mission into Russia to retrieve
a young girl who has a virus and antidote in her system. Fury deals
with overzealous generals at home who threaten to undo the entire situation,
while Castle tries to battle his way out of Russia and save the girl.
